Previously posted here, “Will Google Caffeine Affect Your SEO?” – I tried to explain the changes that Google has brought about with the implementation of Google Caffeine, a new and advanced search engine algorithm. And I had mentioned that load speed will be a factor determining search position.
Come to find out, what I posted here has a lot of truth, but not as much as I found today after finding this article at Web Pro News. Granted, page load speed is now important, but doesn’t hold priority to relevant, up-to-date content. Page load speed, now an algorithm factor, is only only one in over 200 factors that determines search page position. So in the event that load speed makes a determining factor (not likely unless your site is REAL slow), chances are that the effected website will move by only one position.
Below is a very informative video from Matt Cutts that will explain this more thoroughly.
On a scale of 1 to 200, where would you place the importance
of page speed? Comment, read, and discuss here!

Seriously have to think about the Loading time now as Google will consider for Search Engines rankings.
No, speed is not important than relevance. I think your comment should be relevance and you should have a reasonable speed too.
I never thought about page speed being a factor. Interesting.
