VISTA SUCKS!
January 12th, 2008 at 12:29 pm by stevestuff in Computors, Kings of the Internet, VistaCan anyone relate?
I have finally become totally frustrated with Microsoft’s new operating system, Vista, and am about to UPGRADE to Windows XP Professional.
So, why am I upset with Vista?
1) Today I needed to make an animated gif file for a client and my Adobe Illustrator wouldn’t load the required files. So i say, OK; I can find a program on the internet that I can use. WRONG!! After downloading several freeware and shareware programs, I could not get any of them to work. They were NOT COMPATIBLE!
2) I also purchased a student copy of Microsoft® Office Ultimate 2007 from theultimatesteal.com. What a buy - only $59.95!! Oh gee, guess what? The program wouldn’t install. Heck, it wouldn’t even open! I went to Microsoft Help, got a half-way fluent technician to resolve this problem, and that failed also.
3) Over 1/4 of a million websites agree: Personalized Results 1 - 20 of about 278,000 for VISTA SUCKS.
4) See these YouTube videos:
VISTA SUCKS,
When will Vista Die?
Video with lyrics changed, “Start Me Up”
Can you relate?

IE8 Passes Acid2 Test, Web Standards Project Dies of Shock
January 4th, 2008 at 08:25 pm by stevestuff in Kings of the Internet
The first browser to support the Acid2 test was Safari 2.0.2, back in November 2005.
Since then, iCab and Konqueror have announced their own support. The current beta of Firefox 3 comes close, but isn’t there just yet. With this announcement, it looks like Internet Explorer may actually beat it to the punch!
